Process:

Task 1:

Divide into groups of four. The groups will be decided by the teacher. He or she will divide the class into groups by counting the children off from 1-4.

Task 2:

Discuss and assign roles to each student. The group will look through the roles to find out what each role is. Then, they will draw individual roles out of a hat.

Task 3:

Individually research and gather data for assigned role using specified websites. Each student will go to his or her specified website(s) and do the research. The student will then answer each of the three questions assigned.

Task 4:

The individual groups will meet and share the data they collected. Then each student will share the answers to their three assigned questions.

Task 5:

Design a class t-shirt using all collected data. The groups will use the program Kid Pix to draw a t-shirt design. This t-shirt design should represent all of the information about colors that the groups learned. If the program Kid Pix is not available, then the groups can just draw the t-shirt design on paper.
